This month brings us reports of birds all around, such as Wood Stork, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Orioles, and a wide variety of Wood Warblers.
Thanks to our hard-working webmaster, the website is up and bringing in many inquiries about the Adams Ranch events – January, February and March’s trips sold out in a flash with continued interest. We’re so pleased with the public’s response, and grateful to Adams Ranch for their continued support of our chapter!
As we have for several years, members from the chapter will judge student projects in the upcoming 30th Annual St. Lucie County Science and Engineering Fair on the campus of Indian River State College on the February 8, 2019. We look forward to selecting three student projects for the Grace Stock Environmental Awards and presenting those awards in April.
Seen an unusual bird? A “life” bird? A beautiful bird? Why not join us on FaceBook and show off with a photo or a little write up? We’re always happy to hear and see member sightings!
Happy Birding!
